Jason David Woodard-Gaudet (Woody), 47, passed into eternal life on Friday, June 16, 2023. Throughout his life Jason was a devoted mentor for others, always sharing his time and faith.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Gail Woodard (Aspinwall) and the late Wayne Woodard. He lived in Cumberland, RI for the past 20 years, previously residing in New Brunswick, Canada.

Jason was a former teacher, coach, photographer, and production worker. He later came to be a Damage Prevention Locator for the past four years. He enjoyed, traveling, writing, tattoos, being outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family. He was an inspiration and role model for the children in his life; always encouraging them and sharing his love for Jesus. He was a dedicated and wise man, the one person everyone went to countless times for advice. He was a faithful fan to the Boston Bruins, but Wayne Gretzky was his all time favorite hockey player.

Jason was in fact one of the great ones; he is deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his sisters Melissa (Woodard) Vargas, Deanna Woodard, Casey Woodard, Emalea Greaves, His brother Josh Woodard, His Grandmother Barbara Aspinwall, His biological Father Peter Gaudete, His 13 nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, friends, and relatives.

Friends and relatives are kindly invited to Jason’s Life Celebration to be held with visiting hours on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 1pm-4pm at Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln RI 02865. Burial private.
